Today I wanted to honor the memory of my loyal, loving, and best friend—Kaiser. She was the smartest and most well-mannered German Shepherd I’ve ever known. At 105 pounds, she was a true alpha female and she knew it!

Strong, fearless, and sometimes a handful, Kaiser was also incredibly sweet and gentle. Her personality earned her the perfect nickname: Brutus Cupcake.

This marks the anniversary of her passing after a battle with cancer. If you’re reading this, please give her a like in her memory ❤️

 A young mother was left with multiple injuries after bravely using her own body to protect her 4-month-old daughter during a violent hailstorm. Fiona Simpson, 23, was driving home to Kingaroy, Australia, with her infant daughter and her 78-year-old grandmother when the sudden storm struck. Massive hailstones—some as large as tennis balls—pounded the car, shattering the rear window on impact. Without hesitation, Fiona pulled over, climbed into the back seat, and shielded her baby with her body as the hail continu ed to rain down. “It was terrifying, but I didn’t have time to be scared.
